A Belated Happy New Year to all Our Orchestra Families!  

We hope you had a restful and special holiday season.  Here are a few reminders of important upcoming deadlines and such:

CLASSIC COOKIE DOUGH FUNDRAISER: Our annual cookie dough fundraiser is currently underway!  Information packets, including order form and instructions were included.  GOOD NEWS - the deadline for turning in your order has been extended to Monday/Tuesday, January 26th/27th!  Profits raised from this fundraiser will defray the cost of the Orlando trip for all participants.  Orders will be delivered on Monday, February 9th, just in time for Valentine's Day treats!  Please contact event coordinator Terri Leckner or at (703) 861-8944 with questions.


ORLANDO TRIP PAYMENT: The next trip deposit of $300 (payable to Oakton High School) is due by February 1st.  Please send in your payment by that deadline!

ORCHESTRA ASSESSMENT PROGRAM TYPIST:  Mr. Oppenheimer needs help typing up the program for the District XII Orchestra Assessment which we are hosting in March. Mr. Oppenheimer has a template you can use - he just needs help with the typing.  This should be an easy work-at-home project.  Please contact Mr. Oppenheimer if you can assist.
