KUDOS TO ALL ORCHESTRAS FOR AN OUTSTANDING EVENING OF WONDERFUL HOLIDAY MUSIC!

THANK YOU to all Orchestras and their supportive fanbase of family and friends for a FABULOUS concert Thursday evening.  You never looked or sounded better!  In fact, our reputation for excellence caught the attention of a reporter from the news publication "Oakton Patch," who featured our concert in an article. Check it out at:  http://oakton.patch.com/articles/oakton-orchestras-shine .  Several students, parents and Mrs. Myers were interviewed.  Several photos are included as well.  If we keep this up, we'll be fending off the paparazzi at our next performance.  Ah, the burdens of celebrity .  . .  All kidding aside, you all make us proud - keep up the great work!

SCRIP ORDERS are due on Tuesday, December 15th.  If you're still needing some last-minute gifts, Scrip gift cards are a wonderful (and easy) idea.  Orders placed by the 15th will arrive on the 21st - just in time for stocking stuffing.  See http://www.ohsorchestras.org/fundraising/glscrip for instructions

SPRING TRIP DEPOSIT of $150 is due Tuesday, December 15th.  See http://www.box.net/shared/i7bry8vtgj for the deposit form.  Note that in January we will make a final reconciliation of trip costs and amounts due and will bill each trip participant for any remaining balance owed. All chaperones should reply to Wendy Smith regarding their availability and t-shirt size ASAP.

COOKIE DOUGH FUNDRAISER will kick off in January.  This will be the last big fundraiser before our trip.  Remember which tasty cookie flavor you enjoyed most after the concert so that you can cook up more at home to fend off the winter chill.
