What Can You Do?
Make Your Voice Heard

Attached you will find
1 - List of Board of Supervisors and call to action (Dates - Feb. 13-15, Feb. 16 and March 1)

We need to pack the Government Center,February 16th, to show the Supervisors just how serious we are about needing and getting full funding.   You need to get this out because if we do not get full funding from the Board of Supervisors - we could still lose the 4th grade string program.  As you have heard - this would impact both band and string teachers since we share certification.

In the advocacy world - there is also the belief that once they start cutting - other things follow.

We need to protect our program and we need your help!

has joined together with Friends of FCPS which combines all groups interested in obtaining full funding!

Tri-M sponsors -please note - we are going to events in the
county where we can get parents to sign letters to go directly to the Board of Supervisors.  Please email Jenna at if you have students that can help.

This coming weekend we are asking parents to send their supervisor a note, email, fax or phone message as part of a Send a Little Love Campaign.  We want to flood their offices with messages supporting full funding for the school system. Please mention 4th grade strings and the importance of maintaining the Arts in FCPS.
If you have questions - please contact one of us!
